NEUROTERUS ALBIPES
Fig 1

DESCRIPTION: The unilocular agamic gall here is induced by a small wasp with the resultant growth starting saucer-shaped before curling up at the edges and becoming almost folded in two. The colouring can be pale yellow to greenish with varying degrees of red/pink. When the gall falls from the leaf it is seen to become swollen. DISTRIBUTION: Common throughout but perhaps not recorded as much as it should be . HABITAT: Loosely scattered on the underside of Oak leaves, occasionally found on the upperside too.
